Miserable Donuts: Scoring cheap points off a friendly nation
I like this analysis on the UAE port deal. Solid and rational.
What do you think? I expect that all of you Navy folks are much better educated on the technical aspects of port operations than I - could you perhaps update this post with any of your thoughts or opinions?
Port OPS and Port security are two vastly different things. One involves the rapid and expeditious turning of seagoing vessels, who live and die on their cycle time, the other revolves around keeping out anything that is undesirable, whihc includes human non-human elements.
